How the commission pays out.
Every SkillForge AI playbook ships on a quarterly subscription -- the buyer pays once a quarter and stays subscribed as long as the playbook keeps earning its slot. The affiliate payout model mirrors that cadence: commission accrues on every quarterly subscription renewal a buyer you referred completes, not just on the first payment.
The platform takes its fee, then issues a commission calculated against the post-platform-fee net on each event. The commissionBpsSnapshot column locks each commission row to the rate that was active when the buyer paid -- a later operator adjustment to the affiliate's default rate does not rewrite historical ledger rows, so your past earnings stay consistent.
Per-affiliate rates are competitive with the trade-software world and sit inside a bracket operators can adjust in /admin/affiliates once you're onboarded. Rates are confirmed when the operator issues your invite -- we don't bake a single number into marketing copy because every affiliate's terms are negotiated individually.

The schema treats paid as a one-way flip -- once a cluster is paid, the commission rows stay paid.
